All Student Giving Campaign
Commencement is not the end of being a Terp, it is just the beginning.
Terps care and Terps give back. In fact, many Terps give back before they even graduate.
In recognition of the philanthropic spirit of Maryland students, a presentation of the student gift is incorporated into one of the most important moments in a Terp's life, our Commencement proceedings.
With a rich tradition of students giving back at Maryland-2010 marks the Centennial of our students giving back to Maryland (first class to give was in 1910).
In honor of this milestone, the former Sr. Class Gift effort has evolved to an All Student Giving effort at the University. Students from across campus choose to financially support the causes they believe in the most-from the university's community outreach and partnerships to student groups conducting discovery and research to solve tomorrow's complex global issues-Maryland students leave a lasting and impactful legacy through exceptional scholarship, service and charitable support.
Congratulations to all of our graduating students.
