The success of this celebration depends upon the generous support of volunteers who, as ambassadors for the university, help to make this culmination of students' academic careers an occasion to remember.

 

Volunteers are needed to assist in the following areas: greeters, ushers, program distributors and assisting with the lining up of faculty, staff and students. The schedule for the main ceremony is as follows:

 

• 4:30 p.m. - Volunteers check-in, receive assignments and commencement vest
• 4:45 p.m. - All volunteers to be in their assigned area
• 5 p.m. - Doors open for guests
• 5:30 p.m. - Graduates arrive and begin to assemble in Auxiliary Gym
• 6:30 p.m. - Processional of graduates leaves the Auxiliary Gym
• 6:40 p.m. - Processional of graduates enter the Arena
• 7 p.m. - Ceremony begins

 

Please join us on Thursday, December 17 in Heritage Hall, Comcast Center (2nd floor) at noon for a lite lunch and volunteer meeting.
